Foxley Kingham Goes From Strength to Strength as Luton Firms Merge
Luton based Chartered Accountants Foxley Kingham, already established as one of the leading independent firms in the area has merged with fellow Luton firm, Whittaker & Co, it was announced today. The deal, which came into effect on 1 st December 2005, will swell the ranks at Foxley Kingham’s Rothesay Road office to over 40 directors and staff, and promises a substantial growth in business for what is already a healthy and flourishing practice.
On making the announcement, Chris Howe, Foxley Kingham’s Managing Director, said,

Foxley Kingham was founded in 1968 by John Kingham and Malcolm Foxley. Both are now retired and the practice has continued to go from strength to strength under Chris’ leadership, by continuously seeking to improve the levels of service offered; by embracing change; and by offering imaginative, practical support far beyond the traditional accounting remit to help grow their clients’ businesses. With a varied portfolio of clients, F-K has experience across all types of industries. They are also able to offer specialist advice to family owned businesses, partnerships and medical practitioners.
The merger will bring substantial growth in terms of personnel and clients, and significantly increase F-Ks profile in Milton Keynes.
Whittakers is a long established and much respected Luton firm whose profile, client base and core values mirror F-K’s own. It is anticipated that this will ease the transition of both staff and clients into the Foxley Kingham fold.
